German-Uzbek expert dialogue programme on climate-resilient agriculture
German-Uzbek Expert Dialogue Program is aimed at conducting trials on climate-resilient agriculture and providing recommendations and proposals based on their results. The program primarily focuses on testing and selecting climate-resilient forage crop varieties (mainly resistant to drought and salinity), improving feed quality, analyzing its nutritional value, and developing seed production for certain forage crops in livestock farms specializing in dairy production. Special attention is given to these issues within livestock production systems. We are able to provide technical and practical support to small and medium-sized livestock farms by offering consultations, organizing training sessions, and conducting scientific and practical field trials in cooperation with relevant research institutes in the livestock sector. In addition, by maintaining regular and close dialogue with stakeholders, we can present our insights to help create favorable policy conditions for the sustainable development of the sector.
